Duties and Responsibilities of the Engineer's Office:

        ▪ Planning of highway and bridge projects
        ▪ Field engineering and surverying of specific projects
        ▪ Creating plans to be used in carrying out projects
        ▪ Preparing grant applications for specific projects
        ▪ Preparing bid specifications for specific projects
        ▪ Annual bridge field inspections and submission to ODOT
        ▪ Road establishments and vacations
        ▪ Utility permits for county road rights-of-way
        ▪ Rural house number assignments
        ▪ Assisting townships with project plans and technical advice
